Pembrokeshire Haven - Wales Spatial Plan

The Wales Spatial Plan Tourism Study for Pembrokeshire Haven, completed in 2007,  identifies tourism opportunities to increase under-utilised assets, increase visitor spend and extend the tourist season.The plan re-emphasises the goal of sustainable development of the coastline and marine potential as well as the environmental and heritage assets of the area. The project  looks at how opportunities for tourism, leisure and culture can be strengthened across PH and their potential to contribute further to sustainable development by:

•  Developing tourism;
•  Increasing leisure and culture opportunities for local people;
•  Increasing opportunities for healthy exercise;
•  Strengthening the area¹s sense of identify and distinctiveness; and
•  Increasing the quality of life of the area to attract and retain businesses a people.
